New Creation has always been known for its innovation and inventiveness.  The Group was among the first to parry inspirational lyrics to reggae and other indigenous Caribbean beats.  While catching their share of flack for breaking new ground, they also had their share of glory, receiving the prestigious Honeycomb Award for significant contributions to the development of Jamaican Gospel Music in the Twentieth Century.
