Well, God how could this happen to me???<\/p>\n
That fellow Job \u2013 he had A LOT go terribly, terribly wrong. I confess, I don\u2019t know of anyone who ever had it as bad as Job did. And yet, one thing remained \u2013 his absolute faith in the FAITHFULNESS of God!!!<\/p>\n
Sometimes we can\u2019t find the words to pray. I\u2019ve found that praying the scriptures comforts, and lifts my spirit; and strengthens me. And as I continue to pray the Scriptures, I move from feeling depressed, down-trodden, beaten and victimized, to feeling like the victorious, child of God I am. Then that feeling rests in the re-affirmation and knowledge, not just a feeling, but knowledge that I am a child of the King, the one true God, the Lord of Lords, and by Him and through Him , \u2018no weapon formed against me shall prosper\u201d (Isaiah 54:17)!!!<\/p>\n
Praying the Scriptures \u2013 it\u2019s a wonderful thing!<\/p>\n
Prayer:
\nHeavenly Father, You are always there for me, even when I can\u2019t see Your hand, and everything is going wrong – I WILL praise You! Thank You for the comfort, peace and joy You give when I am facing battles in my life. Thank You for catching my tears. “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know: God is on my side! I praise God for what he has promised; yes, I praise the Lord for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 56:8-11)
