God’s not after (seeking)\u00a0performance<\/em>, He’s after intimacy.
\nIntimacy comes into our most in most parts…
\n“In-to-me-see”; it means God “knowing” me in my innermost parts, like a husband intimately “knows” his wife. It comes into my thoughts, my desires, and then eventually my actions.
\nOh to be known by God!! And then I too will truly “know” Him!
\nDidn’t He say “this is eternal life, to know God and Jesus whom He has sent” (Jn. 17:3).
\nAfter intimacy Jesus won’t (be able to) say “depart from me … I never knew you” (Matt 7:23).
\nIntimacy comes into our bedroom, our bathroom, our kitchen; and participates <\/strong>there. Nothing and nowhere is exempt.
\nPerformance happens in the public spaces to show to others our “best foot”;
\nIntimacy shares who we are in truth, and … He desires truth in the inward parts (Ps. 51:6).<\/p>\n

So … make me a habitation where Your Presence (<\/em>Spirit) is pleased to dwell. There must nothing in me that I hold more dear than You. Talk to me every day, I want to know You in an intimate way. I love and adore You, I bow down before You<\/em>. (Excerpt from song “Habitation” by New Creation).<\/p>\n

Remember the apostle Paul’s heart cry –<\/p>\n
