LOVE ONE ANOTHER<\/p>\n
Those of us who are “on a roll” – walking in victory after victory – tend to be hard on those who are going through period(s) of failure. It’s easy to forget that our Lord Jesus has set us the example to follow. I am reminded of the following event that our heavenly Father has in His wisdom, seen fit to record for us.<\/p>\n
Luke 22:31-34 (NRSV) [31]\u00a0\u201cSimon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded * to sift all of you like wheat, [32]\u00a0but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.\u201d [33]\u00a0And he said to him, \u201cLord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death!\u201d [34]\u00a0Jesus * said, \u201cI tell you, Peter, the cock will not crow this day, until you have denied three times that you know me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rom 14:1 (CJB) 1\u00a0Now as for a person whose trust is weak, welcome him\u2014but not to get into arguments over opinions.<\/p>\n
Isa 42:3 (CJB) 3\u00a0He will not snap off a broken reed or snuff out a smoldering wick. He will bring forth justice according to truth;<\/p>\n
If believers are instructed to welcome those whose faith is weak, it follows that God has also already welcomed them. So if your faith is weak do not be discouraged. I implore us – do no give up on those whose faith\/trust is weak.<\/p>\n
